Tag system
Organize your trades and days with tags.
TradeJourney has a two-level tag system: tags per trade and tags per day.
Tags per trade
Assigned to each trade individually. Useful for categorizing:
- Setup:
Breakout,Pullback,Reversal - Strategy:
Scalping,Swing,Position - Quality:
A+,B,C - Market:
Trend,Range,News
Tags per day
Assigned to an entire day. Useful for evaluating:
- Discipline:
Follow plan,Deviated,Overtrading - Mental state:
Focus,Fatigue,Emotional - Conditions:
Volatile,Calm,News
Tag groups
Tags are organized into groups for better structure:
Create a group
- Go to Settings → Tags
- Click "New group"
- Give it a name and a color
Add tags
- In a group, click "Add tag"
- Give it a name and a color
- Add a description (optional)
You can also create and assign tags directly from the daily view, the calendar, without going through settings. Trade tags are editable on each individual trade, day tags on each day group.
Filter by tags
In trades, the dashboard, and the daily view, you can filter by tags:
- Include: Show only trades/days having certain tags
- Exclude: Hide trades/days having certain tags
Default tags at import
When creating an import profile, you can pre-assign tags:
- Day tags: Applied to each day containing imported trades
- Trade tags: Applied to each trade individually
This is useful to automatically mark trades from a specific broker or strategy.
