Import your trades from NinjaTrader 8 via CSV or cloud indicator.

Method 1 — Manual CSV export
Export from NinjaTrader 8 (recommended, simpler at first)
- In the NinjaTrader 8 control panel: New → Trade Performance
- At the top right of the window, choose the "date range" (for a single day, identical in both fields)
- Click the "funnel" icon at the top left and select "only the account" to export
- In the "Display" dropdown, select "Trades ($)"
- Click the "Generate" button at the top right
- Right-click in the results window → Export
- In the Save form, choose CSV (*.csv)
- Click Save
Create a NinjaTrader profile with provider "NinjaTrader" to import your trades (see Create import profile):
Method 2 — Indicator + cloud
This mode uses the same protocol as the automatic MetaTrader 5 import via the cloud storage server.
In TradeJourney
- In Settings → Options, fill in the cloud storage server URL and password; the token is also available there.
Enable the indicator in NinjaTrader
- Add the TradeJourney ExportHistory indicator on a chart, an Export History button appears
- Configure the external server (cloud) URL, token, and password in the indicator settings
- Click the Export History button to send your trades to the cloud
Create the profile in TradeJourney
- Create a profile with provider NinjaTrader and select "Use cloud storage server"
- Click on the list item that appears, then select Import
